Once again, GALS Charitable Foundation is pleased to host the Gerard Butler Fan Convention and Charity Gala in its efforts to raise money and awareness for The Shade Tree – a shelter providing safe refuge and rehabilitation to women, children and pets as they strive to escape the vicious cycle of domestic abuse.

As part of the fan convention, we stir up the excitement  by auctioning one-of-a-kind items (often signed by Mr. Butler) and raffling baskets filled with various goodies.  Recently, the fan convention and charity gala generated a whopping $16,148.56!  This fantastic amount was doubled when Mr. Butler generously matched all funds raised over the course of the event!  Ultimately, a GRAND TOTAL cash donation of $32,297.12 was submitted to The Shade Tree.  (This does not include the non-cash items (e.g., gift cards, clothing, toiletries, etc.) which had been collected through the year and presented, also.)
